Our Preschool is staffed by exceptionally well qualified and experienced people.
Katie Hooper has eleven years' experience teaching primary aged children, she completed her teaching degree in 2012 gaining her qualified teacher status. More recently she has been focusing her teaching towards nursery and reception where she really enjoys seeing the children flourish. She is passionate about education and believes that every child’s early learning should be a happy and exciting process. She is also a qualified swimming teacher and enjoys sharing her passion of swimming with the younger generation as well as teaching them a life saving skill
Eloise Shepherd Eloise is an experienced preschool teacher with a wealth of expertise in Early Years education and a specialism in English. She is passionate about creating engaging, play-based learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. Believing that young children learn best through exploration and meaningful play, Eloise carefully plans stimulating environments where communication, language, and literacy develop naturally alongside children's confidence, independence, and social skills. Her warm, nurturing approach ensures every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to flourish.
Lois Dann has been working with children for 5 years. She has qualifications in childcare and has completed the course Understanding Autism. Lois enjoys working with children in both reception and preschool classes. In addition to this she has worked for several years at the Aslan group at Tonbridge Baptist Church, where all children with special needs are loved and nurtured.
Louise Elliott has experience within childcare and education spanning 18 years and has included a wide range of childcare and educational settings, both public and private. All of these positions have allowed Louise to gain valuable experience with a diverse range of Childcare Qualifications. Early years education it's a profession from which Louise gets a sense of achievement and enjoyment, its importance cannot be underestimated, as it forms a foundation for the child's progression in later life.
Fatima Rahman Fatima is a caring and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant with over 10 years of experience in education. She began working in child care and primary education straight after graduating and has since supported children across a range of schools in London. Now settled in Tunbridge Wells and with children of her own, she brings both professional experience and personal understanding to her role. Having worked with children from many different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, Fatima creates a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to grow in confidence.
